Jae Blaze is the Artistic Director behind Kanye West’s hit video “Fade” starring Teyana Taylor and 2017 winner of the MTV award for “Best Choreography In A Music Video.” She has over 20 years experience molding and choreographing amazing talents including Rihanna, Kelly Rowland, Fergie, Nicole Sherzinger, Selena Gomez and JoJo. Other credits include touring and choreographing for the Black Eye Peas, the Latin Grammys for Will Smith, Sean Paul, the SuperBowl Halftime Show, and the Grammys.

Joe Brown

JOE BROWN

JANUARY 26 & 27 from la

New York City native and MIT graduate, Joe's passion for dance is cultivated by the theatre and underground urban dance scene.  His love for both the technical and performance arts brought him to Los Angeles, where he received his masters degree in architecture. Since then, he has worked successfully as a professional commercial dancer, choreographer, instructor, creative director and entertainment designer.  He is the founder and choreographer of Stroll Groove, a premiere stepping/dance crew recently featured on NBC's World of Dance (Season 1) produced by Jennifer Lopez.

His dance class Step/Stroll, is a captivating look into stepping technique, culture, history, and fusion with other dance styles. His innovative mix of stepping with a range of other styles, including Hip Hop, Dancehall, Afro- and more is gaining momentum with even more upcoming television appearances, live shows, and music videos for major artists; including an appearance on America's Got Talent with his fraternity step crew Frat Attack and co-choreographing step-infused numbers for and performing in Beyonce's epic Coachella performance this past April. He also choreographed a step/stroll duet for this season of So You Think You Can Dance (Season 15).

Jeffery Hurricance Duffour

Jeffery “Hurricane” Duffour is a Certified personal trainer, group fitness instructor and fitness enthusiast who was born and raised in Ghana. Hurricane originally got into fitness to transform his own body and soon discovered a passion for helping others reach their health and wellness goals. He is the creator and founder of the Afrobeat Burnout fitness class. He is also a viral star with over 100,000 fans on instagram.

Hurricane guarantees if you try the class, you won't leave the same!

FeBruary 22 & 23 from nyc

Ejay was born and raised in Nigeria. He started dancing at the age of ten, training in traditional Nigerian dance styles and fell in love right away with dance. He was also part of the afrobeat street battle lifestyle back home in Nigeria, so he has a good understanding of the origins of many afrobeat movements.  He worked with and choreographed for artists like Korede Bello, young Paris, CDQ, ketchup, Niniola, et al. 

 He moved to NYC a year ago to train with top notch industry choreographers in various styles like street jazz, hip hop and jazz. These styles bear a little influence on his afrobeat style. His class teaches a fusion of naija street styles and street Jazz.

Tango+Leadaz

TANGO LEADAZ

Tango Leadaz is a Dancehall instructor/choreographer that has quickly made a name for himself as one of the top go to people for authentic Dancehall in LA. With well over ten years Dancehall experience he uses his vast Dancehall vocabulary and knowledge to spread joy and help bring awareness to the culture.

Prior to moving to LA, Tango Leadaz danced for years in the underground Dancehall scene in FL and has relocated to California for the purpose of spreading authentic Dancehall culture into the industry.

He is the creator of many globally popular Dancehall dances such as "Good Chemistry" - which can be seen done by major artists like Chris Brown and Omarion - and "Get use to it" which is currently being done by the one and only Beyoncé on her OTR2 tour. 

Described as being "animated" and "full of life" he is gaining notoriety for his high energy classes and flavorful choreography. He has taught workshops in Asia, North America and he has recently finished his 3rd European teaching tour. Tango Leadaz dance credits include Pharrell, Wizkid,  Alicia Keys, Gwen Stephani, Chris Brown, Janet Jackson, Usher and choreographed Omarion's  "Distance" and "Word4word”.

Lorenzo+Hanna

Lorenzo is now internationally known, but was first introduced to dance at a young age at social gatherings with his family. While growing up in South Florida, Lorenzo embraced his Caribbean roots while performing and competing inside of dancehall clubs and parties for many years.

After winning several dancehall competitions and dancing next to some of the best dancehall dancers from Jamaica and South Florida, Lorenzo decided to take his love for dance to the next level by moving to Los Angeles, California to pursue his dreams. Lorenzo is currently part-owner of an internationally known Afro-Caribbean company and dance style called Dancehall Funk.

Credits include: American Airlines, America’s Got Talent, Reebok, Redbull, Shaggy, Chris Brown, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Kevin Lyttle, Flo Rida, Sean Kingston, Nicki Minaj, French Montana, Bruno Mars, and many more.

Kara Janelle

Kara Janelle "KJ" is a professional dancer and teaching artist based in Los Angeles, CA. Born in North Carolina and bred by Washington, DC she has worked from coast to coast as an independent artist as well as a resident choreographer for multiple studios and universities. She earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Dance Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and has been traveling the world performing and teaching ever since! Her educational credits also include NC A&T and the University of Cape Town, South Africa where she studied abroad. 

 KJ is a force on the stage which has led her to dance for Janet Jackson, Daddy Yankee, Lauryn Hill, Pharrell Williams, Jidenna, Wiz Kid, Will Smith, Fantasia, Lil Jon, BET, and more. Along with dancing in award shows, concerts, and music videos, she is also an international teaching artist and choreographer. She is currently a faculty member of Ladies of Hip Hop Festival as well as DancelineLA and a sub at the world renowned Debbie Reynolds & Millennium Dance Complex.

Jason Facey

Jason Facey

JUNE

Jason Facey is Jamaica born, and a sought-after industry dancer by some of the music industry's top acts including Gwen Stefani, Chris Brown, Alicia Keys, Pharrell, and Major Lazer.

He specializes in Dancehall, but he also has a strong background in breakdancing and popping. Jason is also a musician who has released two hit songs - “Phuckery” and “Rock and Dip” in 2018.

With his growing social media platform, Jason creates a lot of viral dance videos as well as skits that are seen by thousands of people worldwide. As an actor and a fitness motivational speaker he lives by the credo of his last name, Faithfully Accomplishing Challenging Every Year.

Izzy Odigie

Afro-fusion choreographer/dancer Iziegbe 'Izzy' Odigie started dancing as a child growing up in Nigeria. At her boarding school, she would participate in weekly break dance competitions with fellow students. This “street dance” experience further sparked her interest in American hip-hop & pop. In 2007, Odigie moved to the States and began seriously pursuing an artistic career.

She delved into modeling while in high school before formally taking up dance with a crew known as Enkore. She developed a unique skillset in the hip-hop genre before co-founding her own African dance collective - TRYBE - at the age of eighteen.

Izzy made her major breakthrough on the Afro-dance scene with a stellar on-stage performance with Eddy Kenzo to continental hit - "Sitya Loss”. She followed this up with other trending choreographies, such as her “Eggplant Routine” and "OMG Choreography”, that propelled Odigie to the national spotlight.

Izzy choreographs, performs, and teaches Afrobeats in multiple cities around the world. Moving forward, she will create and collaborate more to grow her brand and the dance industry.

Betty Rox is a Caribbean dancer & instructor that originated from the islands of Belize and Jamaica. She started her professional career at the age of 17, when she choreographed a Cheer-Dance routine for a national "Burger King" commercial. While incorporating her unique style of dancing in her auditions, she gained the attention of several Choreographers and Directors, giving her opportunities to work with  artist like Rihanna, Kendrick Lamar, Sza, Jamie Foxx, Missy Elliot, Will Smith, P Diddy, French Montana, and more. Due to her cultural background, she has always gravitated to artist from the Caribbean. She choreographed her first tour for "Ms Trinity" the opening act for Sean Paul's The Trinity tour. Since then she has worked with several Dancehall, Soca, Reggaeton and African artist. She has been spotted on stage or in several music videos with Machel Montano, Bunji Garlin, Beenie Man, Mr Vegas, Elephant Man, Spice, Konshens,  Kranium, Cecile, Daddy Yankee, Bomba Estereo, Wizkid, Runtown, and the list goes on.  

Betty Rox has an ongoing following for her fun and energetic "Soca Meets Dancehall" & "Sip N Dance" classes. A Caribbean inspired class that just started as a whisper on the fitness scene and now speaks to hundreds of people around the world, who can’t get enough! Betty takes you through a cultural experience, blending authentic movements from several Caribbean islands. Her class combos get your body into positions you may have never thought you could do. However her vibrant energy makes you move all doubt to the side and just go for it! This class was designed to embrace cultural dance through movement. Anytime you step into Betty’s class, it’s a sweat pumping party that lifts your spirits beyond dance. You walk out yearning for more and eager to tell someone about what you've learned. Lydia 'LydRock' Rockson is a dancer and choreographer with a passion for contemporary and cultural African dance. Born in Tema, Ghana, raised in New York and Fort Worth, Texas and currently living in Houston, Texas, Lydia has been dancing all her life. A psychology graduate of University of Houston, she started professionally dancing in her freshman year and since then has developed her signature 'AfriRock' style, which is under the AfroBeats umbrella and is a mix of hip hop and new African dance . She currently teaches classes to all ages, and also performs with top names in the industry including Mr. Eazi, Patoranking, Olamide, Jidenna, Tiwa Savage, Wizkid, Dbanj and Tekno to name a few.

Mychele is a trained dancer and fitness professional. This mother of two believes in movement and motivation. Mychele is a classically trained Pilates instructor, Certified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor (ACE/AFAA/NASM).  She is a Master Trainer and National Presenter for fitness events/formats and has presented for the Lululemon, Under Armour, Reebok and Nike Women brands. This alumni of UCLA and UC Irvine has worked in the arts for over 25 years. Mychele is trained in ballet, jazz, modern, hip-hop, contact improvisation and many styles of the African and Latin diaspora.

Susan Olayungbo, aka Nigeiranjawn, is a Nigerian-born dancer that is very knowledgeable in afro beats. Being predominantly african of culture, afro dance is rooted in her everyday life. Susan has danced for as long as she can remember and is inspired by anything that reminds her of her black culture. She has performed with several mainstream afro artists such as Patroranking, Olamide, and Ayo Jay just to name a few. Her super energetic and fun class has been hosted a few times in NYC and is very well known for her coupe decale flavored afro style.

Pyrotech

Pyrotech Unruly

SEPTEMBER

Born in Kingston, Jamaica, Unruly was forced to migrate to the US at the age of five. Although he was raised here for most his life, Unruly grew up in a Caribbean household located in the Bronx, New York. The reggae and dancehall culture has consistently been an integral part of his life. Being around other forced migrated Jamaicans, he constantly saw kids who danced and it began to capture his interest. In 2012, he along with three other friends formed a group called Divine Dancers.  

From 2012-2015, Unruly and his team partied in local night clubs throughout NYC. It was through partying where he realized his real passion for dancing. In August of 2015, through the mentorship of older dancers, Unruly made the commitment to dedicate his life to dancing. Later that year, his team merged with another local team to form DIVETTA.   

In 2016, Unruly put dancing to the extreme forefront of his life. He officially signed with One Star Nation Entertainment Company. Through their help and social media marketing, he has quickly branded himself as one of the more serious dancers in New York. In August of that same year, Unruly received his first international booking. That experience affirmed to him that his efforts were actually to avail. 

Since then, Unruly has embarked on a mission to establish himself as a choreographer in the dancehall industry. His biggest ambition is to help build a platform in NYC for dancehall so that other street dancers can profit from their talent.

Meka

Meka

Meka Oku Is a Nigerian-born dancer from a musically inclined household. He became highly influenced by Michael Jackson’s unique and distinct way of movement, which sparked his interest towards dance at an early age. While keeping a strong core in his inherent style of dance commonly known as “Afrobeats”, Meka was able to learn Hip-Hop and bits of Dancehall on his own which makes him a self-taught dancer.

Meka found love for choreography through his exceptional Afrobeats and Dancehall inspired style of movement and this has allowed him to Choreograph for A-list Artists Including Psquare and Selebobo. Meka, always a student of the arts, continues to share his art and cultural experiences with a smile for all who embrace it, for the love of Afrobeats.

Tamara and Tavia have been performing, touring and teaching in the industry for 10+ years each. They have danced for numerous artists including Beyonce, Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, Missy Elliot, Lady Gaga, Alicia Keys, Ciara, Diddy and Gwen Stefani just to name a few! 

They have also toured over 80 countries with platinum artist Sean Paul; all of Europe, Africa, Australia, Indonesia, Dubai, Ethiopia, Japan, and the list goes on. You have seen them in all of Sean Paul’s major music videos.  

Tavia and Tamara have been in countless movies, TV/Awards shows and commercials such as Saturday Night Live, Ellen, The Tonight Show, Jimmy Kimmel, MTV VMA's, Billboard Awards, AMA's, Idlewild, Burger King, and Coca-Cola, The Get Down, Vinyl and many more. 

It's doesn't stop there, these two have gone on to teach several workshops in various countries and at conventions such as Nike, Reebok, The Pulse, Lululemon and Monsters Of Hip-Hop.   

The creation of Brukwine was inspired by their passion for performing and their love of fitness. It’s a workout like no other! Their experience in performing with numerous artists on stages across the world makes Brukwine a great learning experience that anyone and all levels can enjoy!  

Women will learn the hottest signature Brukwine moves, how to wine their waist and isolate the hips while feeling feminine and sexy. Waist wining, booty shaking, sweat drenching, calorie burning, addictive and of course… sexy, are all words that describe this workout.

Nkeiruka “NK” Igbonagwam is a college graduate with a degree in International Business and emphasis in Entertainment Marketing. She is a self taught professional dancer, choreographer, and instructor with a passion for afrobeat style of dance, who also picked up dancehall, hip hop and contemporary dance along the way.

Born and raised in Nigeria and currently living in Los Angeles, she started dancing when she was a little girl but picked it up professionally 4 years ago. Her goal is to inspire the world through fun fitness in the form of dance.

She teaches, tours, and performs worldwide with artists such as Daddy Yankee, Tiwa Savage, Wale, Flavour, J Balvin featuring Mr. Eazi, Maleek Berry, and Olamide to name a few.

NK’s talents also include acting, movement coaching, and creative directing.

She has learned consistency, hard work and believing in yourself, as well as your craft, is key to success. Everyone has a turn, just wait for yours.
