1.     How did you discover your passion for dance?

I have been dancing for as long as I can remember. I can remember being around 5 years old, my community in Saint Mary Jamaica use to throw a lot of community dancehall parties. I use to attend them with family and friends and I would dance the night away. When you live in a place like Saint Mary Jamaica, there wasn’t much to do and a lot of poverty. It was the countryside so, you developed a passion real fast. My passion was dancing to the sweet sound of dancehall music.

2.     What was your first big break? And how did it come about?

My first big break was dancing in Pharrell’s music video Freedom. His music video opened the doors to the start of my dancing career. While I was in Los Angeles, I use to go out to this on particular club on Thursday nights. This club was filled with dancers so I always went and showed off my talents.  Eventually I met a person there who told me about the Pharrell audition. At the time I didn’t know it was for Pharrell. I only went to the audition because my friend said they were looking for Jamaican dancers. The amount of money I made in 3 hours made me realize i needed to take dancing seriously.

3.     What accomplishment to date are you most proud of?

One of my biggest accomplishments was being on the cover of my college magazine. I never imagined I would go to college or even graduate. I went to Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven Connecticut. I was the first person in my immediate family to do so. After my college found out about my accomplishments such as going on tour with Gwen Stefani, they contacted me and did a whole story in their alumni magazine. The fact that I didn’t expect to make it to or through college blew my mind when I ended up on their magazine cover.

4.     Why did you launch your brand?

I’m So F.A.C.E.Y stands for Faithfully, Accomplishing, Challenges, Every, Year. All things I do I have my faith as a part of it. God first in my life. Because of Him I am able to accomplish the tremendous amount of challenges I face every year. I realized that everyone in the world has some form of challenges every year, so I launched my brand as a motivation for other people. If I can do it, so can you as long as you put your faith first.
