1. When/ How did you discover your passion for dance?

I discovered my passion as a kid. Growing up I use to “praise dance” in church and enjoyed evoking emotion from others. Passion for Afrobeats started as a freshmen in college joining NSA Cultural team (Nigerian. Student Association).

  2. What was your first big break?

My first big break would be Afrimma Awards 2014, when I auditioned to be one of the dancers for the awards under the leadership of Kaffy.

  3. What accomplishment to date are you most proud of?

I believe I’ll have to say Coachcella, performing at Coachella and presenting pure Afrobeats.

  4. Why did you launch your brand?

I launched AfriRock because during that time there was no Afrobeats dance classes in Houston or Texas and there was a need for it!

  5. What is the one thing we should know about you and your classes?

My classes, as well as myself, are to be inclusive to those of the culture and those who inquire about it, yet making sure to keep the foundation of afro - but making it a free and energized space for all levels.
